There can be several reasons why your credit card has been declined:
- Incorrect details: Make sure that the details you have introduced matched the ones used when registering
- Incorrect CVV number: Make sure you have correctly introduced the digits in the CVV field
- Incorrect expiry date: If the expiry date is incorrect, the payment won’t be processed.
- Insufficient funds: If your card doesn’t have sufficient funds, then the deposit attempt will fail.
For Visa, Mastercard and Discover, CVVs are three digits long and you can locate them on the back of your card, to the right of the signature.
For American Express the CVVs are four digits long and it appears on the front of your card, to the upper right of your account number.
